IND | BMW M Performance G87 M2 Carbon Rear Bumper Trim Set

The BMW M Performance Parts for the car’s aerodynamics, powertrain, chassis and cockpit offer a wide variety of options for customizing the new BMW M2 with maximum performance in mind. All the components were developed on the back of BMW M GmbH’s motor-racing expertise and the experienced it has garnered over five decades, and have been precisely tuned to match the two-door model’s specific characteristics.

The carbon fiber add-on parts for the front, sides and rear are made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. They optimize the car’s aerodynamic properties while also accentuating its racing aura with a clear coat finish that exposes the composition of fibers beneath. The M Performance carbon rear bumper trim ensure the new BMW M2 makes a particularly striking impression.

By filling in that huge blank void, it really tones down the look of the I-beam.

It just makes that whole area at a glance look like it's some kind of functional airflow outlet.

It now ties in with the boxy front intake and gives it a cohesiveness to the whole car... You can imagine air flowing at the front through the intake and somehow should exit through the back... even though it's not.

These cost more than the front splitter and canards? Wow.

No offense, but I think I'll just get a can of black dupli color and save about $2570. I'm pretty handy with some spray paint due to some youthful dalliances in graffiti 😉.

I’m sorry but these, the CF mirror cap set and the CF exhaust tips are such a rip off. I don’t know who at BMW set the MSRP on some of this stuff but they’re way off.

That front splitter is more of a joke.

I would expect there will be aftermarket trim pieces in due time at a fraction of the cost.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a few non-cf accents for a fraction. Maybe something like these but in matte black, and then a rear wing in black. If I'm sticking a piece of plastic onto the car with double sided tape I'd rather pay 1/4 or less and the plastic not be wrapped in cf.

I actually kind of wanted these to complete the matching look to the front but after seeing the price tag...phew.

My wife is starting to wonder why I didn't just buy an M3, and then I go: "Hon, I would still buy extra shit to put on that too." And then she had the look, it finally dawned on her...this shitshow with cars will never end

And besides, manual four door M3 is for next year haha

My wife has slowly come to this realization.

Other than the price I like them. Although I wish they also covered the reflectors.
