I noticed in a post by M Division, the M2 comes with a large engine brace. I’m sure at some point, with an aftermarket engine cover, this could potentially be retrofitted for the m240i. Does anyone have opinions?

Seems like it will work a lot better to stiffen the body,then the two side braces would

The radiator core support bracket on the M240 only has 4 bolts, and this has 6+1 for the brace point. You'd have to probably tap a hole for a bolt, or see if you can retrofit that core support bracket from the M2. The rest of the mounting points will probably line up.

it will fits our g42, my friend G20 m340i got this strut brace installed . G20 and G42 have same mounting points .
He just rear end some one , and his car is waiting for repair in body shop . If he sell his car , then I will take the strut brace for free lol .

Looks like the G20 guys were already thinking about this, but then realized the Supra/Z4 is the G29 chassis, and not compatible with the G20.

You’re saying this Blitz strut tower brace for the Supra works for the m340i? Do you have more pictures?

Yes , and works for our g42 as well . I am 100% sure , I take some picture if I have chance
