Just came across this short video, posted a couple of hours ago, of a Zandvort Blue G87 being driven, with a focus on the exhaust sound.

Sounds better than the stock G80 Comp. Still prefer my F98 as far S58 stock exhausts go though. Has a deep growl more akin to a V8. Maybe due to the geometry of the SUV? Even the akrapovic exhausts sound deeper on the F97/98 vs the G80/82

My G80 sounds a bit higher pitched. Subtle, but maybe the difference is due to the M2 being so much shorter?

Epic stock exhaust sound! Given that I don't like the look of the M Performance exhaust, I don't think I'll go for it. It costs around €5,000 in Spain.

Like the F87, sounds better form the outside than inside. Unfortunately. Interior shots make it sound like a video game again. Hopefully the stereo generated engine sounds are as easy to disable as they are on the prior gen. I'd rather have less noise but real noise than the other way around

Its an inline 6 and on stock exhaust (as a fyi, you dont get the V8 base on a V6, either). It will never be a growling V8 but it will have more life with downpipe and exhaust.
