They come with built in turn signals that have the exact same LED design as the real M mirrors.

I currently have the full pre-preg carbon 3 piece set from AUTOID however the lacquer failed after 14 months and I never heard back from them. They claimed to offer a 3 year warranty on all TRE products (their carbon brand) however I suspect they all come from the same supplier.

It looks like these guys have copied the design and built in some turn signals to the bottom piece.

I also replaced my turn stock turn signal for the sweeping LED ones purely because they are around 4-5x brighter than stock. However knowing what the Chinese foled tail lights are like I'm not sure if these will be bright at all?

They’ve never really come down, people still expect inflated prices because they’re M wing mirrors, so around £600-800.

You've completely confused me ha, I'm not selling anything.. OEM mirrors sell on eBay for over inflated prices. Nobody seems to back down on prices because they most likely paid too much themselves too.

The ones referenced above are 3 piece replicas, if you're wanting to barter those prices you will be best speaking with the sellers on aliexpress. I haven't contacted any of them so I wouldn't know whether their prices are negotiable.

Just checking eBay and see what's available. Some say "or best offer" so you can message those sellers and try and haggle. Personally I think the F8x OEM mirrors look better than these replicas. If you have blind spot monitoring you have to go with OEM.

i considered these replicas before I found out about blind spot monitoring issue. the upside of these over OEM (other than price) is that you dont have to take your door cards off. I notice used BMWs that had their door cards off always have creaks and rattles.

Yeah my car has some occasional mild creaks which may be from swapping out the ambient lighting LED modules mainly when accelerating from a stop. It's kind of annoying but it's not very loud so isn't a huge deal. My previous 430i didn't have any creaks after doing the same though.

Yeah they're not 100% the same shape or size.

The key is to always replace the clips with oem ones. They have little foam washers which soon flatten to the panel shape, if you go to refit the doorcard with the old ones then chances are they won't dampen correctly. I redid a lot of my interior and tried so many different brands for panel clips, even the premium brand ones didn't help and even though they probably make them for BMW the ones from the dealer have worked every time.

It's also probably worth noting I had the prepreg carbon versions of the original 3 piece kit - the actual cover itself never snapped 100% into place, maybe you could argue the other two pieces had some miss alignment but I spent hours trying to get it right. Eventually one of my friends bought the plastic painted version and the fitment was pretty much perfect. Comparing the inside clips they do appear to be a different design on the plastic ones compared to the fully prepreg carbon ones.. so if anyone fancies them in carbon maybe choose the carbon/abs ones and not the prepreg versions.
