Rough idle sound after AA catted DP install

Hey guys,

Has anyone who installed the AA catted DP experience a rougher idle afterward? The sound goes away as soon as I give it a tiny bit of gas and the RPMs go up. The car was gully warmed up at this point. Any ideas?

Thanks, Mike. The shop really screwed the pooch (I am the pooch) on their install. The other shop that's installing my Eibach Pro springs this morning looked into it per my request and found the issues. Noise fixed after they secured the sensor wire in the hook and added the missing nut.

I had to use a floor-jack to apply a little upward pressure to the mid-pipe in order to get that nut started.

Nothing I hate more than paying a professional to return a 1/2 ass result.

Glad to hear Ultimate Tuning is a good shop and to you for being the guinea pig in this area to find them.

Haha, for sure. Definitely a top notch shop. I spent a good amount of time talking with the owner (Eric) and he showed me his equipment that he invested in (he has a state-of-the-art alignment machine and some really cool hydraulic lifts that operate faster and have a backup in case the power goes out so that he can still get the car down.

Just goes to show that paying a professional shop to do work doesn't mean it will be done correct.

No one is going to care as much about your own car as much as you do. I try to do as much as possible without having to pay a shop.

I always take my time and double and triple check everything
