N53 tuned

So i've just aquired a N53 e91 325i. After a couple of days driving it definitely has more power then stock 218hp.

After some digging trough the papers i've found a invoice and dynograph at a tuner called BR-performance back in 2018. According to the paper it made 274hp and 328NM.

Now here's the thing, throttle is almost instant, and actually ruins the daily drive because it's so snappy, i dont mind the power however and is there a way to get more out of it? But it this snappy throttle response normal for these engines?

I would think you would have to remove the remap and go back to stock. I have just had my N53 tuned and its the same as yours. instant throttle. It takes getting used to.

They probably just messed with the pedal mapping. Tuners do it because they think everyone wants a instant response gas pedal. You would likely need to retune to have it removed as most tunes are locked. The pedal mapping just makes the car 'feel' more responsive when in reality if you had another car with identical tune but stock pedal mapping they would perform identical for the most part.

I already assumed so, gonna contact the company that tuned the car if they have a software update service...... Found out the car is still on factory software. You sure need to get used to it, but down low its just not as responsive as you would like, then again drove a stock 330i and it had the same issue down low.
