Car hard to start after refueling

Anyone have an idea why my F30 N55 is hard to start after refueling? It seems to be whenever I remove the gas cap. I thought it was my JB4 messing with something but I removed it and it’s still doing it. It won’t turn over at all the first try, second try it turns over but immediately dies and third time it turns over, runs extremely rough, sounds like it’s going to die and then starts to run normal

I mean, I don't have a specific cause, but it sounds like gas is evacuating the fuel rail/lines somehow.

Bad check valve somewhere is the system, or leaking fuel injector maybe? Coupled with releasing the pressure in the tank when you open the fuel cap?

Can you recreate it by opening the fuel cap, or is it only after adding fuel?

Many things can cause issues of this semblance, and I don't wish for your car to have some codes. But without codes, it's kind of hard to hone in on where to start looking.

From personal experience, below is a list of things that I've had similar issues from the past:

1. Battery going out or a battery change without registry
2. VANOs solenoids
3. ECC shaft sensor plug invaded with oil
4. Grounding cable come loose or corroded from motor to chassis
5. Oil pressure or oil level being low; this affects how VANOs can control advance timing, at times the oil filter's small little seal ring can cause such issues if sealing is bad.

There are many other causes to have similar issue without an engine code, but the above 5 I've dealt with while there weren't any codes being seen.
