Took advantage of the unseasonably nice weather for a no rinse wash outside. Took it for a drive and covered in dust again.

Edit: Still clean(ish) - added a few better photos.

we almost jumped on a black 240 before getting our 230, I don't think I could ever own a black car but it does look mean

Apez, your car looks great.

There's nothing like a black car when it's clean/detailed. The depth of the paint is fantastic, being almost mirror-like. Of course, that's part of the drawback, as well, since you see all the dust, pollen, swirl marks, etc.....

As the saying goes, black isn't a paint color, it's a vocation

Ever since I was a child I like black everything. Anytime I buy even a jacket or anything else in a bright color I regret it. I keep trying to push myself, but not on this.

I wish I felt comfortable rocking a blue or red car!

Thanks! Honestly I get a lot of satisfaction out of washing it. I really love being able to wash in the garage in the winter with ONR, so working okay for me. Don't drive it so much in the winter because I don't want to get it salty again right away.

Looks great, man! Best part about a black M240i is that it swallows up the gloss black surround effects (bumpers, side skirts).
