M2 available now thread

I have been on a list at my local dealer, and have been shopping all the car sites and have called a few of what seems “available”. When I call they just tell me that the car is sold and then try to take deposit for a custom order on the wait list with no timeframe which I understand. I wanted to start a thread for people to report local cars that they see that are available for immediate sale. My guess is there will be adm on these cars, but would be a good resource for everyone who is actively looking.

Not going to be easy. Only way you’ll find an available M2 is finding a remaining HEA or a canceled order.

We have many available in Orange County CA, but dealers want a large adm.

There was one in colorado springs, but they wanted $10,000 ADM. I think some poor bastard bought it already. A fool and their money will always part ways.

Also in South Bay Los Angeles area, there are over 10+, but the dealers want the mark up.

Just throwing this out there, it’s available and located in South Florida. My sister is in sales and I can pass along her info if any is interested. FYI it is going for 10k over MSRP.

Why is that guy a fool? Presuming there weren't similar cars immediately available at a better price, he got what he wanted, when he wanted for a price he was comfortable with.

Because they’re enabling the dealer’s shitty behavior and they paid 15% mark up on a depreciating asset? Lol.

Sounds like something Vista or possibly Delray would do.

It’s interesting how different the market is for these cars in the US compared to Canada.There are HEA’s readily available at MSRP in Canada and some dealers in the US are charging ridiculous markups.No one should pay over the list price for this car.These ones for 10k over are going to be sitting there for a long time.

Looking at g80 prices used right now most cars are still going for well over sticker. My guess is the M2 will follow the same price trend for a while.. I bought a g80 m3 at sticker and sold it for 10k profit after driving it 6 months. Dealers see that as a problem as well.

And Braman. I ordered my M240 from them. They already sold an M2 at $10K over. There are people willing to pay this so the dealers will keep doing it.

For everyone claiming that dealers should not charge over MSRP, do you feel the same about selling under MSRP? My guess is that no one will complain about a discount. This is really just economics.

Should we feel the same about used cars selling for over MSRP? It's still happening for rare cars. Bronco Raptors are easily 25k over MSRP used.

Our market and its people are dumb enough to always put want over need at any cost... this is why we have insane inflation but not really a recession.

well my local dealer up here in Canada still has their HEA for sale, but they are adding a bunch of bogus fees on top. The 2450$ driver's pkg is already a cash grab. Add crap financing and its not a surprise. You can order one how you want and get it in June/July.

Well I was just there today at the Pines location and that car appeared on their website since I was checking to see if they had any. I have yet to see one of these in the flesh.

Lots of CF parts installed (front and rear spoilers, etc.). I think sticker was mid $80s.
