G87 M2 with M performace splitter and air ducts ONLY - by Topher Parker

I can't see this posted anywhere else.
It looks really good with just these parts on the front, and not the stick on side and rear bits.

I'm not saying that I will put them on my car but I think it will satisfy a lot of people.
Even more so a version without the vertical wings.

The rear wing shape in my opinion doesn't work very well.

Feel like the front is too aggressive for the sides and rear now tho

I'd get the ducts but pass on that splitter. Most of the M Perf bits aren't my style, but looking forward to what the aftermarket comes up with.

That’s why I’m a little hesitant with the MP ducts. If a better aftermarket alternative comes out, you’re stuck with the OEM since they’re glued on.

They're glued in?! Are the rears too? How tacky.

Double sided tape + glue. Not to mention the stock vent has to be cut.

The air inlets are what they are. Dont know how aftermarket are going to be improved over the M Performance inlets. Plus, with the way the are installed and the risk of damaging the front clip if done via aftermarket, being installed at the port, they are under warranty.

This is why I ignored them as long as possible, I don't plan to remove them now that I have optioned them.

Could just have a more appealing design. There’s plenty of really good aftermarket companies nowadays with OEM fitment.

For a square opening? What can you change to make it more appealing?

I feel like the rear spoiler could be thinner and wider (getting the whole trunk). Front looks very aggressive, just the fact that the “central part” is not carbon, looks a little bit off to me.

The bigger issue I have is where the spoiler sits. Its back up on the trunk, then you have this angled edge of the trunk that is bare. Someone needs to manufacture a spoiler that spans the width of the trunk but mounts on the end portion that angles down.

The ducts are great, IMO, but the splitter is still a bit off... I'm sure the aftermarket will come out with some nice front lips without the thin, vertical side winglets.
