Can't turn of DTC

Hello guys,

I recently became the owner of a 2009 BMW E91 318d with the N47 engine and I seem to have an electrical issue:
I simply cannot turn off traction control. I tried short-pressing the DTC button next to the locking button, I tried holding it for 3-5-10-15-20-30 seconds and nothing happens.
The system works as intended and is always in safe mode. It cuts power when it senses that I'm about to slide.
I tried to use ISTA to diagnose the button and after I finished the procedure, it said that there is no communication between the Junction Box and the DSC module and that makes me think that there's an interruption in a cable somewhere.

Problem is: where is this cable located on the left hand drive model and can I simply fix the break with a similar gauge wire?

Hopefully someone had this issue and fixed and and it was just a cable or a fuse.
