E92 335i annoying problems - please HELP!

Picked up this nice stock 57k mile N54 DCT and had a few teething issues…

On the 250 mile trip home - car first threw ABS, DBC and TPMS and the passenger seatbelt faults. Scanned codes and found front right wheel sensor faulty. The fuel gauge and range then started to go up and down with acceleration

Cleaned the connection for the wheel sensor as a temp fix, ordered a new sensor. Read online to check the fuses and ABS connection under the hood - there was a bit of corrosion etc on the fuses so replaced them.

Then the car started throwing a few different codes, brilliant.

2A19 - DME: TANK-VENTING VALVE, ACTIVATION.
2A94 DME: CRANKSHAFT SENSOR SIGNAL.
2EA1- BSD MESSAGE OIL CONDITION SENSOR MISSING.
2FBC: FUEL SUPPLY CONTROL VALVE SIGNAL.

Any help or advice is very much appreciated on diagnosing this! Thanks in advance

Exclamation Voltage regulator

Check your voltage when the car is running. You can access the hidden menu on the gauge cluster. It should be between 13.5-15v. Anything greater or lower means you alternator is not working properly. The voltage regulator is easily replaceable for about $50US.

Will pass this on to my friend who’s going to look at the car tomorrow and help fix (he’s a mechanic). New car is joyous so far

Could it not genuinely be the crankshaft sensor?

It’s now also throwing rear left wheel sensor code and also the steering assist system fault.

You probably need a battery, in the meantime you can try registering the one you have with ProTool.

I tried replacing the battery with a new one and coded it in using ProTool - the car still was limping with the same codes - it long cranks, then starts and rpms kinda bounce, I moved the car about 5-10 mins away from where it was sat and it was idling perfect after. Cleared codes and they came back and it started doing its RPM bouncing stuff again.

What others said. When I first got my 06' it needed an alternator. My drive home, 50 miles, was sketchy. A couple times I thought I'd need a wrecker. Went into limp mode more than once while on the highway. I had lots of crazy codes that almost all went away when the voltage was correct. I did also need a left rear wheel speed sensor. That wasn't a voltage issue for me.
