2023 M2  [8.33]
Carbon package non HEA delivered

Well, here she is. 23 M2 with just about everything on it. Total was $76K and change.
I came out of my beloved 20 F87C. The car had a whopping 19 miles on her, that's after putting in gas, I think it was something like 12 miles when it was offloaded.
The seats make the car, you're planted, oddly comfortable but a PITA getting out.
My initial impressions are that the car feels very solid, the steering is good but you can feel the assistance in comfort mode as opposed to the F87C. The clutch is more springy and has a on/off feel. However, the car is obviously brand spanking new and the clutch will wear in, just like every BMW.
The car has presence in real life. Pictures truly don't do it justice.
It feels more like a modern 911 in that everything is tight, the cabin is very premium (my neighbor thought it cost about $50K more than it does). It's planted as hell, maybe because of the weight but it feels like a serious car. I'll post some more impressions after I get the chance to drive it more.

BSM looks awesome and hides some of the awkward design elements BMW introduced. I think the color does this car justice better than any other color available. I just couldn't pull myself up to maintain a black car. Enjoy it.

BSM does a great job of camo-ing the wheel gaps. Nice spec!

Congrats! Would love your take compared to the M2C, especially the shifter feel (some reviewers have said it is slightly improved).

I am thinking of going back to a F87 gen after selling mine, miss it so much! But also debating between a 718 4.0. But can’t argue with the G82 and those great CF buckets.

Those seats will fit me nicely. I'm only 140lbs with 12% body fat.

Great question actually. The thing with new cars, especially BMWs is that you have to break them in, which takes time. I honestly think a better company would be taking a 5K mile F87C and a 5K mile G87 to see what the real differences are. I loved my F87 and will miss it, this car is different, it's more premium while keeping the playful nature of the F series. You can't go wrong with either car.

Congrats.Great looking color when it is perfectly clean like in your pics. Are you able to confirm that the rear seats don’t get Merino leather like the front Carbon Fiber Buckets.Just wanted to make sure it was the same as the pre production G87’s with the Buckets that didn’t have Merino leather on the back seats.

Congrats on your car. It looks dope.
After 2K miles, my shifter got better. It was more precise and less rubbery. I have looked at the MT part numbers. They used different flywheel and clutch from F87C to G8X. The flywheel was reinforced. The clutch pedal was a little bit softer. Engagement point was about the same in G80. I have not driven one yet so that could be a little bit different

Back to the thread, BSM looks menacing.

Correct, the fronts are Merino the rears are whatever hell else they use. I don't think I'll notice because we'll, literally nobody will notice.

Really! So they did not rectify that with actual production models? I am surprised!

I think that's what they did with the F87CS too. Honestly it's pretty dark back there, I legit don't think you'll notice it whatsoever.

Congrats! I'm looking at the same spec in BG.

The base leather is more durable, reading reviews, only kids fit back there now so thats fine with me.
