Saw my first m2 in the flesh, it’s enormous
I come from Miata’s and currently daily a TT. This car looks so big (at $63k I’ll get over it.)
Interior thoughts are seats are super comfortable (6 1 225) the screens are cool, door accommodates the elbow window down, trunk holds my golf clubs, steering wheel only lends itself to 10 and 2, not enough room below the “bulge’ for my hands, leather feels high quality, view over the giant hood is a bummer vs c8/718/Emira but still affords tons of vision (I’ll never let my wife pull it into the garage) I keep cars a long time and this may be the perfect GT car with just barely enough room with the seat forward for my pooch to jump in the back seat. I’d rate my first siting 4 of 5 ricks. I’m guessing a few hours behind the wheel the car will melt around me and feel small enough. Rick I’ll also add I love the black wheels (for winter) shadow line tail pipes and carbon roof. My build is sub $68k, feels almost free. ![]() Last edited by ourlee; 05-03-2023 at 12:22 PM.. |

Lots better view out over the hood than my Hellcat. Driving the Hellcat was like staring at a wall, an Octane Red wall...
For all my cars and the M2 is no exception I raise the seat up until my eyeballs are positioned at the middle of the windshield. The view out of my M2 is ample in my opinion. The parking sensors drive me crazy. Any thing within a hundred feet of the back of the car has the alarms sounding the end of the world. When I get the car centered in the garage door opening then the alarm sound level drops off a decibel or two... |

Love Miatas, but oh man it's a rough daily. You also get to enjoy better cupholders, better cubbies all around the car, actual legroom for the copilot seat, a radio you can hear....
You do lose that convertible life, an excellent shifter, limit driving at legal speeds, and IMO better paint. |

I adjusted them down in my MINI JCW but I have not yet figured out how to do this in the M2. But I'm going to have to look again. |

However, adjusting range, sensitivity, or volume would seem to be within software possibilities. Thank you. |
