BMW CCA rebate reminder.

For those of you that are BMW CCA members, don't forget to collect your $500 rebate when you receive your M2!

And for those that AREN'T in BMWCCA, maybe consider it? It's got some nice bennies.

For example, the Boston Chapter it's only $68 a year (which is totally paid for by car rebates and parts discounts). Plus access to all kinds of social events, AutoX, concours, etc.

I only have direct experience with Boston, but I assume every chapter has equivalent goodies.

Indeed! PA has some really good chapters and one that I'm not sure is still active. Plus the M chapter. I really enjoy the CCA.

Good timing!

(Note to non-members. You gotta be a member of the club for 6 months before you can use the car rebates. They don't let you sign up for a month, buy a car, and then cancel your sub lol.)

Don't think so, sorry. You've got https://www.bmwclub.ca/ , but I don't really know anything about it.

Thanks ! There is a discount I see but the catch is you have to have been a member for at least a year before picking up the vehicle to be eligible.

Squidge: Don't forget to tell the Boston BMW CCA to get the Evolution school back this year. Lots of great BMWs there every year, and a great staff!

Here’s a referral link if that’s allowed here. I don’t think we get anything out of it but new members may get a discount on the membership?

If it’s not allowed, let me know and I’ll remove.

I also thought there was a way to jump start the discount by getting a 3 year membership?

HAHA I'm just a vanilla silent member, I don't organize anything. There is an advanced driving class at Lime Rock this year, but I don't think there's anything at Evo.

Hey, sometimes you can negotiate these things, car clubs are like-minded enthusiasts after all. I'd suggest you simply chat with them, see if you can make a deal.

I checked and here's the verbiage:

"Purchase a 3-year or longer membership and after 6 months you will be ELIGIBLE for the BMW CCA Membership Reward Rebate"

Emphasis mine. A 3 year membership is $159, and the rebate on the G87 is $500. So if your arrival date is more than 6 months from today, that's free money. No reason to not do it, even if you don't want the other bennies.

I just did that option last night after reading this thread. I totally forgot that I wasn't a member anymore. I guess I can't leave a 10 year old credit card on file and hope it keeps working, LOL!

Now, I feel like I placed a bet. I'm #2 on my dealer list, and got a 6 month bet on my membership dues. What are the Vegas odds?

This is a good reminder. I forgot about this and didn’t realize this would also apply to the M2. I also asked about the veteran rebate. Supposedly coming but hasn’t happened yet.

Probably the 6 months first, especially if you ordered carbon. Seems like that is causing delays. If it's really close, I suppose you could ask the dealer to hold the car for a little bit?

I'd be surprised if they let you stack multiple discounts. Would be cool tho, I'd love to double-dip.

They do not. I received a rebate from my company on my X3 and the CCA denied this rebate because of that.

Ahh. Wish I knew about this sooner. I'm taking delivery in early July. I'm guessing I will have no way of taking advantage of this program?

In my area all three dealerships also give BMWCCA members discounts on both parts and labor. The two independent BMW repair facilities also give a 10% discount on parts and labor to BMWCCA members.

Nope, sorry. BMWCCA are very strict about the new car rebate. You have to be a member for 6 full months before you accept delivery of your car.
