Half & Half

M240i or M2. Tough choice. Why not both?

I currently have an M240 and I’m waiting for an allocation to show up for my BTO M2.

So, to answer your question: Yes. Get both.

Same design internally I think but different shape. The taillights are the same.

This m2 does not have lightning package. So it does not have the same DRL as 240i in the picture. And I think they are not adaptive led lights are just standard led.

Easiest choice ever if you're just going by looks.

The new M2 is hideous, the internet is almost universally in agreement on that front.

Performance-wise it's great, no doubt... but looks like something out of minecraft sadly.

I think it looks good in black, but that's only because it hides all the lines.

How silly would it be to have both? Would you consider it redundant, even if you used them for totally different purposes? I am trying to decide my own thoughts on that.

It is completely ridiculous to have both! I don't have nearly the disposable income that many of you have, so the idea of having two $60k+ cars that are so similar in form and function is preposterous to me. However, if $60k is a drop in the bucket to you, get one in every color!

It’s not a drop in the bucket for me, I’m just an idiot. 😂 It wouldn’t cost me much of anything from here. I have a 9500 mile 2022 X3M that I hardly drive anymore since I got the G42. I want to hold out and see if they drop a XDrive M2 to trade it in for. They are so similar but I’d use them so differently (I think).

I'm genuinely curious, how would you use them so differently?
