Check control parking sensors dirty

Been getting this error when I was driving in some rain. Sensors don’t appear to be damaged, just a small nick from driving on the thruway

Made an appointment at the dealer. Hoping it’s covered by warranty. Has anyone had this happened yet?

I go through delta sonic but I’ve never had an issue. I’m probably going to take the sticker off my car just in case though.

You lost me on delta sonic (is that a Sonic in a town named Delta?), and taking the sticker off your car (what sticker?).

I don't see the warranty covering damage from road debris.

It’s an automatic touch less wash in the north east. I have a membership with a sticker on my car. I forgot they are kind of local.

I see , I mean it’s hardly noticeable. I was just curious.

In very heavy rain, or going through a car wash, I've gotten the error, too.

Goes away as soon as the sensor is clean - or at least it did in my case.

That's normal. Soap blocks your sensors. As XC3LLR8 said - it should go away after rinse/dry.

Solution - air dry them at 135 mph.

Its been a few days and still hasn’t gone away. The error comes up consistently when I back up.

I have the same issue. Car is in service now. Given the (subtle) damage to the sensor, it is not covered by warranty however, my dealership is going to cover it. You can ask.
