Hands-on & driving the G87, coming from a heavily modified F87 M2C

Man.. I have been waiting for this now for over a year, and I finally get time in the new BMW G87 M2!

I am really excited by this opportunity and actually check out this car, especially since I have one on order at BMW Seattle! The short version is I am really impressed with this car, including the updated technology, new screen, and overall performance. This is a seriously potent platform as is, let alone what will happen once we get going with modifications. As an example, if you haven't seen the Kies Motorsports modded G87 yet, you really should as they have already gotten very serious about modding!

This is such a GREAT car, and I cannot wait to get my hands on my ordered model!

On that note, my heavily modified and flawless F87 M2 Competition is now up for sale. If you are interested in this really best of class 745whp monster, shoot me a message.

Just wanted to mention that you have a great YT channel. I learned a lot of F3x stuff from your channel a few years ago! Thanks!

Ah thanks man, I really appreciate that! More content coming soon and really branched out on models as well.

Candidly I am going to have to not look back when I sell my M2C as I adore this car.. so much fun, so many projects but ready to try the new M2!

Thank you so much for sharing this. I still remember one of your Youtube video helped me changing my spark plugs by myself on my F80 S55 many years ago. Can’t wait to see more content from you in the future!

Fantastic review, and congratulations on the incoming G87! BMW Seattle always comes through with making their HEAs available to drive. I took the same test drive route you did with an Isle of Man Green G82 6MT back in March 2021 and ended up trading in my '21 M2C for one based on that experience.

Nice!!! I can understand the motivation! Selling my M2C is going to be hard as it's finding the right buyer as well.

One last final upgrade.. CS hood for the M2C 8) Perfect for the next owner.

Thanks for the review and showing the car with M performance parts. I don’t think I saw a review with complete set of cosmetic parts and it’s really useful for people to decide what they want to add on.
Quick question: is the car also lowered with M performance HAS or it’s standard? The front doesn’t look that much of a gap from other videos on YT. Thanks!

No HAS, standard suspension.

We should start a thread. I get super attached to my cars and I’ll prob give my TT to son1 if he wants it. Question is how much money to sell to a d bag vs a car guy? Would you go with dbag at $500? $1000?
I’d go $1000 to the bag

Because most of what they took out of the M4 was air (passenger room).

All they stuff they left in weighs a lot. (Stiffened chassis, big motor, big brakes, etc.)

🤣that’s pretty funny. Still it should be lighter what’s the weight of the 4 inches x 9 feet x 4 feet of metal?
