It is a shame we can't have the non-frozen variants!

Disagree here. I love my non-frozen Silver Grey paint. It shows all the nuance of the "flame" surfacing sunny or overcast.

Plus, frozen seems like beotch to maintain and will be an outdated fad.

Just my opinion on the colors. Everyone likes what they like, thats why they make chocolate and vanilla.

As far as frozens being s fad...frozens and matte finishes have been popular for many years. Dont see it ending any time soon.

As amazing as the frozen paints look, I don’t think I can bring myself to order it because of the upkeep. Still no Dravit Grey on the M2 even though it is already used in the same factory.

IMHO, the frozen colors look really cool but are a hassle to maintain. Also forget about using touchup paint for rock chips.

Frozen is hard to take care off. I think normal with stealth PPF much better choice.

Xpel Stealth gives you the best of both worlds, you have a Frozen look along with PPF protection against rock chips.

Super disappointing. I'm on the waitlist and was excited to get pushed back to MY2024 because of the possibility of new colors.

Was hoping for Isle of Man Green, or Portimao or maybe some fun surprise. But frozen colors do not do it for me.

Even ignoring the upkeep, in my humble opinion they look like a rattle can job, conceal a car's lines, and have already felt played out for years.

I'm sad.

At a 2nd look, I noticed this BMW Press article is very similar to that posted yesterday on the BMWNA press site. Both cover almost the same subjects aside from the US specific i4 xDrive40 or iX1 for across the sea.
I could be wrong, but now I’m somewhat doubtful of the frozen colors being offered in the US on the M2 just like they did for other markets with the 3 series. Could be looking into it too much, but just an observation I wanted to mention considering how frozen paint availability has historically differed among the markets.

Fail..........Thank gods of all Toronto red was available for my order.
Frozen is flat looking boredom for paint. Just the normal M4 colors would = major improvement.

Long Beach Blue as my 17 M2 was superb!!!

This request is unlikely to get any attention from BMW paint department but here it is.

Make San Marino Blue available for any model at a reasonable price.

That's all?
Not a fan of frozen paints (plus individual colors cost madness and take a long time to get), why not a normal Portimao Blue or IOMG? So disappointed.

“BMW doesn’t offer this car in many colours, we need more colours.”

- BMW provides more colour choices.

“Why not the colours I wanted? BMW shouldn’t offer these new options.”

Does that make sense guys?
