Garage List
2023 BMW M2  [10.00]
Break-in Service Complete

Finally, can go 10/10'ths of my ability, lol

One of the items "disabled the running in service"

Didn't notice a performance change but really nowhere to really test that on my way home.

Is the first break in service charged or do they do this free as it’s required?

If it’s scheduled maintenance, there’s no additional charge.

We have free maintenance in North America (US/Canada), but rules have changed a few years ago. We used to have 4 years/80k KM of warranty and maintenance included.
Maintenance has since been lowered to 3 years or 60k KM.

You might want to double check if maintenance is still included in the UK as well. If it is, then all good.

If not, you’re looking at an engine oil change + differential fluid change. Nothing major.
Thanks and will check out today 👍🏻

Took a bit of planning, but dropped off the car at the dealer for the break-in service at exactly 2000.0km from the factory:

Good job
A few funny looks out the dealership windows from a couple of people as I went backwards and forwards a couple of times in front of the service entrance to get it to change from 1999.9 to 2000.0.

Sometimes it is fun to play OCD games
