I am subject to the card key recall. I thought it was a software update, but according to my dealer I just needed to surrender my old card key and they replace it.

Are you talking about the DIGITAL KEY recall?

I just had the above recall done last weekend and the dealer did NOT require the card key.

Yes. They made me surrender my old digital key and are replacing it. 🤷

Yeah, I was told the same.
Last time I was at the dealership for my break-in service, they said they've updated the software and asked for the key card. I didn't have it on me, so they told me to bring it in for replacement next time I visit them .
