What was your delivery time?
I'm looking to buy a RWD M240i in the next couple of weeks, and being from Europe there aren't any on the lot so I will have to order one.
How much did it take for your car to arrive after it was ordered? Looking for answers from Europe mostly, but US and any other inputs are welcome. |

I ordered 218i M Sport 3 weeks ago from Slovenia. Dealer told me it will come in 5 to 6 montth and that he will notify me when he will have some info. To this day I didn't receive any info, so I guess production still didn't start.

Ordered mine in February this year (Slovenia) and they said 4-6 months waiting time.
It all depends on dealer allocations. Mine said that they should hopefully get one in July and with the car being made in Mexico, it will probably be delivered sometimes in October/November I guess... |

The one OP is asking about. They (Wallis Ljubljana) got an allocation for x-drive variant in June, so one lucky guy/gal will probably get it the same time as I will.

I think that if you get your M240 in less than 6 months in EU, you can be considered very, very lucky. I doubt any dealer has cars already on the lot. Shipping cars across the Atlantic takes a while + distribution across the EU to your country so that increases the delivery at least by a month if not more.

Mine took just under 8 months to get to the dealer, including 3 months transporting it here from Mexico.
<Sarcasm> To be fair I do live in London which is a very small out of the way place 70 miles from the docks so the logistics of transporting things here is immensely difficult. Plus there are only about 20 BMW dealers within 25 miles of my house so clearly they hardly sell any cars at all around here which explains why we are such a low priority in the logistics pecking order. </Sarcasm>

9 and a half months
June on order (January 2022) then August. But I think he was stuck for 2 and a half months at the exit port (Zeebrugge) because of "transport problems" |
