Any interest in Apex Group Buy?

I'm curious if there's any interest in asking Apex for a Group Buy on the forged VS-5RS in Anthracite offering... ? I'm thinking 19x10 and 20x11 staggered offering?

I wonder if they just do group buy per size and we could each pick our own color... I would also consider a 20x10 square setup so I can rotate but I'm not sure how they would ride.

Usually, they do group buys by the wheel diameter and model. They did one a couple of months ago for the Sprint Line and you got to choose your model and color. Keep an eye on GangUp, their group buy site, for current and past offerings. You can submit a request to do a re-run of the group buy that has ended. Not sure if ApexRaceParts will do one just for us here on the G87 forums.

I am not interested but am curious, if there is a problem, is the organizer going to have to be the person to handle replacement/returns? Just something to think about.

Thanks for tagging them. I'm pretty sure I'd prefer the 19x10 and 20x11 option on their website which could be x-posted with the M3/M4 crowd...

Did this apex group buy get any traction?

I'm curious about their 19x10 and 20x11 set as well, but the offsets provided on their website aren't quite what most are doing for the M2 (+12 fron/+15 rear), so I have questions about that.

I've been in touch with their staff and they asked me to participate in a test fitting and 3d scan since I'm fairly local. I am still willing. We will see! I could be persuaded to go to a 20 up front if the ride isn't too harsh.

Elsewhere I've seen people putting spacers on the stock wheels too. +12 to +15 front/+15 to +18 on the back, depending on if you are lowering the vehicle. Edit: AutoID just released a video with stock wheels at +15 front/+12 rear and said you could go +15 rear.

Apex makes a 19x10 et12 and a 20x11 et18. If you want 20x10 up front they only have et8 which sounds like you would need a spacer but not positive since the wheel is an inch taller and more importantly 12.7mm wider compared to stock.

The photoshoot went well, I had a lot of fun. I'm still torn about doing a 20 up front. The pros being that would mean less lowering and I really don't want to scrape over every speed bump... but when they put those 18's on my ride it was so comfortable, steering me back to a 19.

Yes, Apex put 18's on my car during the test fitment. Media and fitment chart should be available this week or next. I think they were 10.5" width.

They can fit, but they'll need to have a fairly optimized barrel to clear the stock brakes from what I've seen on the scans. Our Forged 18s will clear but I would guess that not all 18s will clear the front brakes.

Yep, 18x10.5 ET18 square + 305. Not easy, but we'll have the notes on that setup soon. Teaser of the same wheels on a G80: https://apexwheels.com/gallery/bmw/m...nthracite-1425

Very nice.

To be honest would prob prefer going 295 square to not alter front grip TOO much on the m2.

18x10.5 with 295 relatively straight forward?
