M2 on Copper Bronze Advan GT Beyond

Hey folks - have owned a number of cars over the years with Volks, Works, BBS, etc. rims but never had Advans. Since the G87 has always given me some R33/34 Skyline GT-R vibes, when I spotted a good local deal for this set I scooped 'em up and put 'em on the M2.

Specs:
Advan Racing GT Beyond
Racing Copper Bronze
  • 20x10.5 - Inset 15 (Michelin PS 4S OEM BMW Star Spec 285/30ZR20)
  • 19x9.5 - Inset 15 (Michelin PS 4S OEM BMW Star Spec 275/35ZR19)

It's also sitting 15mm lower on BMW M Performance HAS with 12mm spacers up front and no spacers in rear. May end up putting some in the rear, though, and dropping it the additional 5mm the BMW HAS kit affords.

Just put them on Friday but so far I really dig 'em. May be psychological but I swear there's an improved steering feel due to the much lighter weight of the forged Advans.

Naw, I didn't think to do a weight comparison. Next time I have them off though, I will.

I like the wheel style. Certainly shows the brakes off, and easy to clean! What was the rough cost of the wheels? Are the tires PS4 or PS4S?

I really really like those and find myself wondering how they would look on ZB. I got through this every time I clean my wheels, like today, and thinking "I NEED TO GET AN EASIER TO CLEAN WHEEL!"

Something 5 spoke is what I was thinking.

Thanks! The tires are Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.

I was able to buy the rims used but in like-new condition so saved some bucks. They’re usually around $1K each new.

Thanks! Bought them second-hand from a local fellow that had been running them on his G80 M3.

Only pic from rear I have right now is this one. Should be able to get another better one this weekend.

Running Macht Schnell spacers - 12mm front, 15mm rear.

The rear spacers weren’t on in the earlier photos shared here, they are in this one.

Thanks. System motorsports just released a 10.5 et 10 square set on concave 5. might be the best fitment with the smallest spacers.

Thanks!! I was actually meaning like a top down or right behind the fender to see how flush the wheels are

Also for your 19inch wheels how much does the barrels clear the caliper?? I test fitted 19inch TE and it’s like half a MM

OK here’s about as many different angles of the rear poke I could think of.

Exactly what I was looking for. This is a perfect flush fitment with the slightest poke with tire stretch.I’m convinced advans are gonna be my next set!

On you 19s how is the clearance from the caliper and barrel? When I test fitted my TE is was like paper thin. Hoping there’s more clearance on the advan

Also you got a IG or car page?

Not sure if you mean space between caliper and spokes or the center barrel but either way there’s a good amount of room between both on either the 19s (first pic) or 20s (second pic).

Don’t have any socials specifically for my M2. Just share stuff from time to time on my personal IG.

I’m referring to the caliper and the barrel of the wheel. Looks like there’s plenty of clearance from the spokes due to the concavity and spacers.

Gotcha. There’s a good amount of space between the caliper and barrel of the rim. Closest spot would be maybe half an inch? I could fit my index finger in the closest gap.
