Warm Start Sounds Louder

Not sure if I’m the only one here. The car is pretty loud on cold start, but i’ve found that sometimes when I start the car when the system is still hot from last drive the start up exhaust note is even louder (with great pops and bangs). Anyone experiencing the same or shed light on why?
