I know this isn’t 100% apples to apples comparison, but it’s about as close as you can get showcasing the most powerful OTS map offered by each.

From what I understand this is in line with what I'd expect. MHD is known as a more conservative tune, no?

On the upper end especially, yes (i.e., HPFP maps). I think the non-HPFP maps are closer (MHD stage 2+ to BM3 stage 2) as the limit is the fuel system. But when that limit is removed the difference is greater because BM3 pushes the stock turbo a little further.

I can agree with that, I’m pretty the timing and boost targets on both are similar and at the limits of the stock HPFP.
