The F3x exhaust comes with antirotation stud(s) attached to the end pipe(s), these interfere with any generic exhaust tips you can get from Ali/Amazon.

See below:

You would need to modify the replacement tips or to cut off the stud(s).

I chose to modify the dual tips, but had to shorten the end pipes all the way to the studs.

There are tips specifically made to spec for F30 335i's for example. They are designed so that they push in to hit the stud, and you can then tighten them down.

Last I was looking at these, I believe these ones just push against the stud while not being out too far.

I was able to find these on eBay UK…… the only set I could find that fit over the stock outlets on the stock muffler side by side

Agreed. These look like proper fit without alteration to the stock exhaust piping of 335/340.

Dyeraudio
OP has 340, so the car is dual exhaust, not like 328/330 with dual pipes on one side that do not have the studs, afaik. What you found works well for 328/330 imo, however my OCD would not rest until the CF sleeves were re-centered onto the inner pipes. This is a common problem with tips sold on Ali. I had to readjust and then to re-rivet the sleeves on my Y tips as well.

I've been running a set similar to these for 5+ years. They're proper slip-on tips made to fit our BMW exhausts, so you don't have to cut the exhaust pipe 'nubs' off, and are sold by various companies (Rolling Gears, SSDD, etc). Available in Black, Chrome, and Chrome Blue-tips

The quality and fit is excellent, and they've held up really well. You can also find them sold on eBay and Ali...

I did not see dimensions at the link that you provided. Do you have length and front and rear diameters?

I don't see M-sport listed, but original is Outlet: 93mm (3.66") and Overall length : 120mm. I went to check on my original exhaust, and 120mm seems a bit too long for my liking. I would prefer 80mm from the nub.

I'd like to know how durable these are. Someone mentioned the blue ones wear out in a month or so.

Are they completely black, or do they have a hue of some sort? In your picture, the inside almost looks purpleish.

Like anything else exhaust tips need occasional cleaning, polishing and even some light wet sanding, polishing and clear coat after a number of years

I was merely asking if they are meant to have a hue or not, or if they are completely black. I'd actually prefer them reacting to the sun in some way.

Mine are not plain black chrome. When I got mine from RollingGears, they had a fourth color, an ‘iridescent black’ it might have been called. (I think it’s the heated titanium-like finish applied over the black chrome on the inside ends). It’s different and pretty subtle, IMO.

I bought 2 sets, since they were only $90/set back then, in case they ever faded/rusted/dulled — but I haven’t had to use the second set yet. (They’re stainless steel.)

For care, I just wipe them down when I wash the car. I’ve never polished them…

yeah the black angled ones look nice and seem like they fit well. and the price comes out to about $100 cad, which is reasonable. I just don't see the point in spending alot of money on something cosmetic like exhaust tips.

I'll probably order the same for mine.

yeah i think that's the common issue with any of these (except maybe some uber expensive ones). what makes them wear out? the heat from the exhaust i guess? road debris kicked up from the tires?

CF usually comes in gloss or matte. The clear coat surface needs attention over the years.

+ rust from cheap steel
+ fade, pitting and dulling from cheap, soft, incomplete, and thin plating

If what you’re getting is quality of mine, they’re a great value…

Believe it or not, OEM chrome coated ones suffer the same faith... especially the side that is not valve controlled.

The right one on both, my wife's 2015 335 and on my 2017 340 (before replacement last year with Y tips) are pitted through the chrome coating and can not be polished out. My wife's car now has a best pair out of two sets, but will need tips' replacement probably no later than next year. I am considering black chrome OEM tips or black gloss aftermarket at 50% of price.

I do like how the tips on your car look.
