Dreaded WG rattle (I think)

Noticed on cold starts I had some rattling happening, it only does it around eco/comfort mode too presumably due to load (sports revving higher)

It's super inconsistent and only does it on extremely shallow revs from time to time.

IIRC there's no real fix for this right; the WG flapper isn't serviceable?

Providing this is a WG flapper rattle issue, can I just adjust the linkage rod? I had a look today and noticed it was threaded so I'm guessing adjustments can be made?

Noise is now audible when pulling away in low gears.

I think the bolt on the rod sets the opening of the flap. The flap itself is on a centre spindle and it's that area that wears and causes the rattle. Adjusting the rod is the fix.

Thanks man, I'm gonna try reach down and have a play tomorrow.

I also have ISTA so I might try run the adjustment test to see if it notices any play.
