WMS Exhaust Tips Installation Help (G42 m240i RWD)

Hi guys, I recently just got a 23' m240i RWD and am a new car enthusiast that have never really worked with cars ever in my life. I recently just got these quad WMS exhaust tips. I got the OEM tips off easily but am now having trouble fitting the WMS tips to the muffler, do I have to use a lot of force to insert the tips?. The instructions that came with it are pretty hard to see. So anyone that has installed these tips that can help me on what to do after taking off the OEM tips? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, it is my first time doing anything to a car.

Thank you!

(Instructions after taking off OEM tips that I can't understand):

Can you post pics of what the new tips look like, specifically the side that connects to the exhaust pipe?

I looked up your tips online and they seem to be designed to fit with the G series m240 exhaust. In that closeup it almost looks like the shape is just slightly off compared to the flat topped oval stock exhaust. If you're sure these are meant to fit your car, I'd advise gently knocking them in with a rubber mallet, preferably with a peice of soft wood in front, especially if you only have a traditional hammer.

In fact it appears that your exhaust tips are bolt on (with screws) so I think these are designed to fit on tight since the only thing holding them on is friction, while clamp type tips tend to actually fit behind the drop off on the exhaust, like the aliexpress quad tips I got, at least that's my guess.

Maybe compare what you have to these...

https://www.mst-performance.com/products/wms-g4201

This is where I bought mine, but at the time a gloss black was available, which I no longer see.

My install thread...

Yeah, that is the exact same product I have, managed to get the black powdered one before it ran out of stock.

I managed to just tighten the clamp for the tips without using any washers like the instructions said and it looks good and secure.

Can these be pushed in more to sit flush with the bumper or do they stand out like that?
