Full M Performance + Eventuri + Evolve + DRL Sapphire Black M2 Build

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
A good friend and customer of ours brought their Sapphire Black M2 with the full M Performance kit to us to have a few more additions to really tie the whole thing together.

Starting off with some much needed lowering with our brand new Evolve lowering springs, the 30mm drop front and rear got it sitting much better. We paired this with 15/12mm spacers to fill out the huge arches these cars have.

Then we added a little more flair to the outside with the Motorsport+ Yellow DRLs, and I have to say they look fantastic against the black paint. Giving the car a really aggressive look with the MP kit and stance.

Finally to add a little power, improve throttle response, increase intake noise and add a little engine bay bling we fitted an Eventuri Intake System including the redesigned much larger Turbo Inlets.

This car left looking much better than when it came in, the full MP kit splits opinions but ones thing is for sure it definitely doesn’t suit standard ride height!

All these parts are available on our website and can be shipped worldwide, or drop me a PM ✌🏻

Do you have the Eventuri intakes in stock? Are these the V2?

I placed an order with Keis a week or two ago, but it was a backorder with no ETA. I really wanted to get these before MPACT.

This is the V2 intake yes. I don’t have access to the stock list right now so best bet is to drop us an email, sales@evolveautomotive.com and we can confirm stock.

Can you share the weight reduction figures for your carbon intake? I'm assuming it will be minimal but it's still something.

The Eventuri intake isn’t made out of carbon fibre for weight saving purposes, but that because it has very good thermal properties that aids in preventing heat soak that you can experience with the OEM system.

Go for a drive then feel just how hot the airboxes get!

With the 30mm drop and the 15mm spacer in the front are you seeing any rubbing on the wheel well when wheel is cranked and backing up for example?

Not that we noticed but from experience on the G8X M3/M4 this can happen with different tyre brands. Either cut the fins or RKP make a nice solution.

On our own car we went for the Michelin Cup 2s so being a slightly chunkier sidewall we may run in to that.

I have to admit, this car now looks good in black. Although.. the stuck on bits and center exhaust remind me of the FK8 Civic Type R. The FK8 Civic Type R of M-cars? ducks

Sure, this car is fast and I'm sure will shred up the track, not taking anything away from it performance-wise, but will look... ostentatious.. in doing so.

Not for me, this kit. Not for most people, I'm sure. That said, I believe I might consider an M2 competition when it comes out.

Black and subtle is a good recipe for this car. Minus the pretentious quad tailpipe setup and glued on "aero" bits.

Agreed Imran

It’s about as tacky as it gets

Somehow BSM reduces it down ❕
