The stock spoiler comes in black from the factory

Only if you have the Shadowline option. Stock M240’s come will body colored spoiler.

To further complicate, in the UK you can't order any 2 series coupe without shadowline but you do get body coloured spoiler on M240. You need msport pro pack that includes extended shadowline on 220/230 and that's a black spoiler, no pro pack, no spoiler. There's no way to spec M240 with black spoiler.

That’s how it is in the US too, but everyone just calls the ext shadow the shadowline cause there’s no non-shadowline option for the M240…

Edit: I’ve been corrected below. It’s an option in the U.S. now.

Yes there is. If you don't opt for the Shadowline Package or the Extended Shadowline Option then you have a "Non-Shadowline" car.

Huh, must be new with the 2024 configurator. When I ordered my 2023 shadowline was pre-selected at the beginning and wasn’t listed in the options tab.

U.S.? I’ve played around with the 2023 configurations for the last few months and I always had to choose Shadowline or Extended Shadowline.

Yep, at least since when I configured in January, and when I ordered in February… maybe it was a supply chain thing? I know they’ve been pulling different options in and out frequently

Thank you sir. I almost had white. Dealer had this and white on the floor. Another gentleman bought the white right as I arrived. White looks great.
