Until what point can one change options?

I placed an order for a car with Mineral White, but I'm having second thoughts and might want Alpine White. One salesperson told me that changes can be made to orders until they reach a certain stage, denoted by a status number.

Anyone know at what point that is, or how long it takes to reach it?

I just got the email today saying the order was accepted at AG and is in status 111. No VIN assigned yet.

The salesperson I am working with wrote that it would be hard for him to change to AW. I haven't put my deposit in yet, so should I just cancel the order and start a new one if the change would be too hard for him?

You should be able to change it before it his 150 (production begins). Definitely a change is possible at 111 and 112 (order received).

Stay with Mineral white. It’s a fantastic colour in the sunshine.

I've been looking at cars in parking lots, and it seems most white cars are actually pearl / slightly metallic white, not pure white. I note the bright, pure white ones catch my eye, but then there isn't much to look at because it doesn't show curves well.

Mineral white can look almost like light silver in some lights with the sun behind you and bright white if the sun is reflecting off of it.

I think I'll stick with Mineral - more interesting

Thanks,
Jim
