Picked up Alpine White G87 M2
Hey all, just picked up my new M2 Tuesday. I’m no stranger to M cars but the looks of this one?!!! Wow! So the next day i ordered the AST has kit and am in contact with my buddy to get some new wheels. Thinking te37 or bbs lm. But here’s some before pictures along with some of my old Bmws. Traded in a fully loaded c8 corvette to get this car and I’ll show that as well.

The white is incredible! Beautiful car Sir. I was on the fence with BSM and the white. Ended up BDM with the blue highlighted trim. The Cognac seat color is actually what made me go with BSM because I thought it just didn’t work with the rest of the interior but it looks great with the white! Enjoy!!!

I bought my dad a c8 for Xmas this past year- interested to see how the new m compares. It’s quick, but obviously auto trans. I presume the seating position alone is the biggest difference. M cars are “normal car” seating position no different than an old civic (in a good way), instead of the limited visibility cockpit type position you’re in in the c8. Similar power, different animals

To answer the question of how the C8 compared to the M2. So let’s start off by saying the C8 punches well above its weight class in terms of price to performance value. It was truly an amazing car, i come from a racing back ground, spent some time doing time attack and grand am racing about a decade ago before i decided to just have fun with cars as they should be. So when i say that the C8 is good i mean it, it’s better probably in every measurable way, except one big way and one perspective way. The way the M2 looks to me is just classic, the only car out that looks like the m2 is the m2, you just can’t find another car like it. And the tune ability of the M2 is far greater as it’s a bmw M car, so you’ll have more lip options, rim options, suspension and exhaust and all of that will be available and easy to access for great power. If you measured how each one drove the M2 would come in second, but besides look here’s why i got it, exclusivity, backseat and the ability to daily drive in in Washington with no problems. And for that it’s better. But if you have the room for a nice daily and want a weekend car and don’t care about seeing 10 of the same car a day… C8! Such a good car.

Finally decided to snap some random pictures. Dropped it right after buying it, has 15/18 mm spacers from EAS and the AST HAS kit. Also decided to do VR tuned carbon fiber intakes. Don’t notice a difference much in sound with the lid on. But when the rainy season slows down I’ll pop them off and check the sound. They do look good though!!

The orange 1 series pic with the gang signs is the best pic ever. Enjoy your white m2. It’s a top choice color wise for me (white, cognac, bi)
