ER Oil Cooler

Has anyone run the ER oil cooler? How was the install? How has the oil cooler performed?

It's probably great for a complete track car.

But unless that's your sole use case, a plug and play M2 style oil cooler is going to be more than sufficient.

I'm skeptical of the CSF cooler. I can't find any other upgrade though.

My first question is why you need the extra cooling capacity? Are you driving hard enough to overheat oil/exceed stock cooling system?

Not immediately. Everything is in preparation of big power. ~700hp

Any particular reason why?

I ended up getting the CSF oil cooler as it's a direct replacement if you already have the aux cooler and doesn't require the new lines. I saw some pictures of the ER one installed and the oil lines are extremely close to the drive belt and pulleys. I've had the CSF installed for a year and a half and have had no issues with it and it does help with oil temps on the track.

I haven't seen any hard data that it does anything

I have a CSF oil cooler as well.

While the ER appeared to be more capable, the install looked far more involved.
