Rattle in carbon fiber cover

I have this annoying rattle coming from the cup holder carbon fiber cover. I'm tempted to fix it myself since I'm ~1000 miles away from the break in service and it's driving me nuts. I was able to insert a pry tool between the top layer (carbon fiber) and the bottom layer (plastic) but I can't tell if it's clipped on or glued together. The car is only couple of weeks old and I don't want to risk breaking anything.

Has anyone taken this apart and put it back together successfully?

Go to the 11 minute mark here. Looks fairly straightforward, I'd personally get a roll of Tessa tape and some single sided foam tape and put it between the CF layer and the base tray to see if that helps.

Trim tools are a must.

Thanks.

I was able to take off the top cover and found the culprit. There was a broken clip in there that was moving around. I still have a bit of rattle after removing the clip. Going to put some foam tape to cushion it.
