Which exhaust system did you get? (or planning to get)

I’m debating between Milltek / Dinan - but interested to see what others are out there.

Edit: forgot to include remus in the poll, if you vote custom/other comment what ya got

For FI cat back i was quoted $3200 USD + $640 for silver tips (cheapest option) + 400 usd shipping… total is $4240

Milltek cat back: $1895 USD + $335 for polished tips (again cheapest option), free shipping

Dinan axle back: $1975 USD with tips (free shipping)

Imo it’s better than Dinan. Plus, with the AA DP i didn’t have the drone issue. Now i have a little drone since i put in a jb4, but im ok with it lol. I went with the carbon tip it looks nice. i was quoted 3900 usd shipped.

When i bought it there was no dinan option lol. retrospectively speaking….if i had the dinan option i probably would have gone with dinan…

Fair enough! $3900 with carbon tips isn’t outrageous.

Out of curiosity why didn’t you consider milltek? that’s been out for a while

Partially it's that the FI sounded better to my ear (purely based on YouTube video). Also that the milltek pipes looked a little rough in terms of quality. If you search pictures of the FI Exhaust you'd see the pipes and welding are so well made. It's craftsmanship! Not that car exhaust needs that kind of quality lol. It's just metal pipes I have no doubt milltek will do just fine but FI feels like a more premium product.

Isn’t the miltek like 2600? You sure that wasn’t for axle back?

1900 is not bad for a catback. The miltek is too quiet for me but it might be what you're looking for. I like the tone of the dinan more and it seems louder than miltek judging from videos. you also get quad tips

I ended up not getting an exhaust and just went with an AA catted downpipe. The added noise was enough for me.

The cobra is one I want to see - if it performs well, the price point is great for it. I think the main concern reading the thread was the drone.

I've binge watched all the exhaust videos recently and I'm leaning towards Dinan now. It sounds great and lower cost than milltek.

I went the custom exhaust route using a local shop:
  • muffler delete
  • install race bullet mufflers/resonators
  • add J-Pipes (per shop recommendation)
  • add matte black double-walled tips

Seems by this poll nobody's got any love for the akrapovich. And by love, what I actually mean is deep enough pockets .

Yeah, for nearly $7,000 , I could instead buy just about every other mod I'd want for the car. - Wheels, tires, suspension, intake, JB4, cheaper exhaust etc

I'm going custom tig welded 3"-3.5" catback with a x-pipe style muffler and anti drone tubes. Once the warranty is up, I'll install a boost logic catless down pipe.
