Spoiler Damage

Hi friends, I noticed some damage on the edge of my spoiler today and wanted to ask if it's an easy fix or is it reasonable cause to start looking into a new spoiler. Thanks!

Sorry that happened!!!
I don’t think there is a way to fix carbon fiber…
Either get OEM replacement or get something slightly different in aftermarket.
I got one from NW Carbon Haus. Quality is really good.

I'm sorry, but that's a really uninformed comment. The picture appears to show some light damage to the clear coat only, super easy to fix. The proper way is to remove the spoiler, sand down the clear coat and get it recoated. Will be as new.

I was looking into options, so I'll definitely take a look at this! Could you send me a pic of how it looks on your car? Thanks for the recommendation.

Today, I noticed a small half-dime sized dent on the trunk lid as well... maybe someone sat on it damaged both the trunk and spoiler.
Nothing else comes to mind. I'm guessing the likelihood of two small rocks flying over my car and landing on those exact spots while driving is almost non-existent.

I'll check with a local shop I go to for my ceramic coating and overall paint maintenance if they have the expertise for this, if not then I'll have to find a body shop that does. Do you have any ideas on how much this should be to sand and recoat? Thanks for the insight

Update: Found some more light damage on the left side of the spoiler.
Would this be a defect of the clear coat or actual damage?

Did u go through car wash? It’s very weird. I doubt it’s rocks… if anything someone put something on ur car. Like in parking lot. It’s very weird.

One time I hit a flying piece of metal on the freeway, so nothing surprises me anymore. Good luck with the repairs.

Nah I wash my own car fairly carefully. Always clean towels and proper pressure management. So guessing someone did put something on the car, maybe themselves haha
