New g80 - what things to do first?

Hey all, my g80 is slated for a week 39 build and wondering what are you are all doing to personalize or tweak when you got your new M3?

Going to get PPF and ceramic coating straight away but looking for other ideas. Cheers!

Why didn’t you ask your dealer to add the M Performance parts to your build sheet? They would have been installed at port at much lower overall cost to you (part, labor, your time). Having them on the build sheet makes it much easier to get insured without listing out extras. And helps with confidence in install quality in an eventual sale.

Most of my m Perf parts were installed at Port. Two of the parts I got installed post purchase had to be replaced (one before install due to a crack and one under warranty at the dealer as a tab holding it in place wasn’t good). Trust me, it’s not worth the hassle.

If your car’s not reached port yet, you can still get your dealer to add them for install.

Nothing. Just take it to the track and enjoy it!

(Ok, maybe some brake fluid…!)

Single midpipe.
Valve controller to get them fully open.
That’s it!

Window tint, floor mats, and maybe mud flaps. Going to keep it simple...for now.

Valve controller.. then maybe midpipe.

Coding device to customize your experience

Wheel spacers and low dust pads or easy to clean proper fitting wheels

Plan a back country road trip right after breakin to see what she can do. I left for tail of dragon at 1100 miles; 2500 round trip. Great time!

Congrats! I ordered the M Performance Flow Through Wing at port. I recommend you take advantage of the free installation at the port as well.

After the break in period, I immediately got a PSI Midpipe with secondary Cat delete. Soon after it was KW-HAS, Millway Camber Plates, EBC Bluestuff, Castro SRF, and Cup2’s.

Next are possibly SPL Adjustable Tie Rod Ends and KW V3.
