Anybody know where I can buy the M performance seats?
I ordered my G42 without the M performance seats but I’ve been considering switching them for the M performance ones however I can’t seem to be able to figure out how to go about purchasing them? Anybody got any ideas?

Ah dang you’re right I never realized that thank you for clarifying. With that being said is it not possible to find a place to buy them that’s based in Europe and have them sent here or is bmw direct the only possible way?

Aren’t the M3 seats the same? I’d look for an insurance write off M car and swap out. (Just wipe the blood off them before you fit them).
Also check eBay for M or XM seats. Google is your friend. Buying new, especially from Europe, will be silly money. |

You could find the P/N for the M2 seats and it "should" be a direct drop in however not sure if you have to program some modules or anything. They would be extremely pricey though.

As others have said M2 M3 M4 have them with the addition of the illuminated M emblem in the headrest and M3 M4 get really nice merino leather in most cases!
Adjustment is the same between the M240 and M cars so theoretically you should be able to drop these in, however if you’re going from a seat without lumber adjustment, to a seat with it, I can imagine something will need to be coded along the way. I would be trying my luck from a wrecked M car. |
