Congrats! After taxes is this closer to buying a Turbo S, or Aventador in Canada where you are India?

The m2 will be my first sports car and I intend to use it as a daily driver. However, most friends or people that I know who have sports/supercars in India use them on the weekends, for early morning runs or mid-night runs. Also in regards to the driving experience, you have to be careful about the speed bumps/potholes and once you get used to the traffic situation is quite easy as it's like controlled chaos.

Thanks! Im not really sure about the prices of the Turbo S, or an Aventador in Canada but as of todays rate the m2 comes around 165k Cad.

Black, Carbon Roof, bicolor wheels, delayed twice, mid Oct current date. Seems like that’s when the first batch of customers cars are coming to India.

7th Oct - 22 cars have made it to India
Hopefully everyone should be getting deliveries soon

Sure, so initially I had ordered an Alpine White exterior and Cognac interior for my car. However, due to my late booking, my dealer informed me approximately two weeks ago that I would have to wait until January or February to receive my car with the original specifications. Luckily, my dealer told me that BMW India had two manual cars pre-speced, one in red and one in black, with all options ticked. Since I was anyways considering both white and black when I initially made the booking, I chose the black option to get the car now. The only thing ill miss is the Cognac interior.

To the Indian owners who’s got the delivery of their G87; do we get any additional protection for the oil cooler considering some of the non-M BMWs get a few dedicated suspension mods for our country (refer rough road suspension package). If not it makes an oil cooler guard a necessity on emergency basis knowing our roads (I plan to order; we can do a group buy)

Also, if we have a hero here, would love to see a picture from underneath (if you can’t lift the car, just throw your phone under the front bumper, it’ll show the bottom of the cooler).

So my ex F30 and an F10 in the family both threw an option called “rough road suspension” upon decoding the vin, basically it was larger springs for more ground clearance and both the cars were assembled in India using CKD kits as BMW has a full blown factory here in India for non M cars however as all the M models are imported there’s a very little chance that something like there would be applicable but still checked with the others who have have got the delivery as driving a car without an intercooler guard would surely damage the oil cooler sooner or later

Spec - Black on Black, Auto, CF roof.

I was skeptical about the ground clearance and ride quality for indian roads, but i find the ride to be very compliant in comfort mode and the ground clearance is not bad at all.

getting more and more confident on the car as i drive it, felt like too much power at first.

let me know your experience as well.
