G87 M2 is in Forza Horizon 5

We can finally continue our bizarre obsession with this car in digital form. The car is now in Forza Horizon 5. Pretty rowdy little thing. Good amount of power and can kick its tail out. And of course you can modify it to whatever you want. Yay!

I let my Gamepass expire. Didn’t even realize I didn’t own Horizon 5 to try this out.

I’m build week 42. Can’t imagine a better way to pass the time than a new Forza. Pissed my Xbox One X can’t play it though. Stuck with a 3070 1440 experience on my desktop. I’m not a very hardcore gamer. Curious how much of the Raytracing experience the 3070 will get me at 1440.

hah, without wanting to split the road community even more, it would be nice to get it in a nice little fixed series

I had a NC Miata for a few years and loved being able to do exactly that

I could only find the F87 in the game, not the G87, is this part of a downloadable car pack?

Yup, winter season reward. I'm sure you'll be able to get one from the auction or just buy it after the season is over. There's already mods for it in the game.

May I ask how much time investment is required to get that reward? I'm not too familiar with the game since I have Game Pass and have barely played it.

Since it's only 20 points, you can probably knock that out in an hour. You can do quick races for a point and seasonal races (which are 3 races in most case) for 5 points. Snap some pictures of cars you already have for a point here and there. Do some jumps for 2 points. Honestly, it isn't that bad. I unlocked the iX m50i, put a widebody kit on it and swapped the electric motor all with one click (it's a preset in the game). Fast and silent fun.

Nice! The horizon games are a lot of fun.

I was sad that the f87 como never made it in to any of them (“just” the standard f87 but it wasn’t mine so it didn’t hit the same)

Correct, you can grind the 4 on the very right, the G87/850i and the Rivian races, those will count and you can at least get 4 points. You can't grind yet because they're all grayed out. Good luck.
