Looks like Mishimoto is having a sale, and that includes their intakes for the G8x platform, which should fit the G87. Curious if anyone has them, or wants to be a test mule for us. They have an open and a closed box version, and they seem to be honest about the fact that you likely won't gain a noticeable amount of horsepower, but will at least enjoy improved induction noise.

new products, i dont you will find many reviews on the M2 yet.

the closed air box one is in stock, the open box has a wait time of 10-14 days

That price isn’t too bad. I had the MST on the Supra and loved the sound…any idea what the loudest intake is for the M2? I like induction noise far more than exhaust noise (only did an AA catted dp on the Supra with the stock exhaust) and will probably go a similar route with the M2

I just ordered the open air version . As many have said no performance gains however the sound will at least be pronounced and setup for future power mods

MAD/MST/Injen are the loudest i have heard

I have the RK Tunes Front Mount Intakes, they are pretty loud.

i have never heard of a warranty being voided because of an intake

They can, but probably at the cost of losing a future BMW customer. Each situation is different.

Best way to avoid this is not to take modded cars into the dealership. Independents are often less expensive and provide better service.

That looks pretty damn good. Its on the list. I was thinking of getting the CF grill from auto techniks so I the intake filters may be slightly more visible as well
