Could be a car sales problem in many places now that supply seems to have caught up with or exceeded demand. My son was at a trade auction here in Western Canada yesterday and said that only 10 to 15% of used vehicles on the block actually sold.

Over supply I guess 🤷
Yes there are good deals to be had so are you snapping one up …..
Think dealers should stem the flow and allow the 150 to start selling thro, moving very slowly indeed some dealers have had the cars for months now and lest face it with the limited spec they’re all the same

I think its a combination of both supply catching up to demand, and also demand being lower than normal because of the controversial looks. Doesnt matter if you like it or not, the majority of people (not enthusiasts) really dont like the new looks of the new BMWs. All my friends (only one is a car enthusiast) thought my F87 M2 C was a gorgeous car and very classy. None of them think the new M4/M3 look good in any way. They are mixed on the new M2. Due to that, demand is going to be lower. Which in a way works out best for us looking to buy as we can actually buy a new car under MSRP again. My friend just bought a new Sienna for his mom and still ended up paying 5k over for it. In contrast my new M2 that is on order i'm paying 500$ under MSRP for.

Over the five and a half years of F87 production, just under 60,000 were produced for an average volume of 900 per month. So far the G87 production looks like it will reach almost 20,000 in 12 months, a production volume over 1,600 per month. There are potentially up to a thousand of those on dealer lots at the moment going by availability in the main markets, so still at least 1500 per month sold, significantly higher than the F87 rate. The G87 is on track to be the most produced and popular M-car ever.
