Baby seat?
Did a quick search and didn't return much.
This car is going to be my daily, while the wife has the GX460 which is the primary family vehicle. But I was curious, does anyone fit a rear-facing baby seat back there? I plan to try it out regardless, and the need would be weekends to get breakfast really but was curious if anyone had pictures. |

I would imagen the passenger seat will have to be so far forward no one will want to sit in it. Given there is no middle seat in the M2 I think its going to be hard to make work. I am sure you can do it from time to time, but getting a little baby back there is also going to be a PITA.
As a father of 3, we always tried to have the rear facing car seat in the middle seat. Even in my wife's Landcruiser we had to move seats forward if not places in the middle. |

I had a newborn (now 9 months) when I picked up my car. I have a babyseat behind my driver seat facing the rear and it fits no issue.
I'm 5"9. If I put it behind my passenger seat where my wife would normally sit it would be even more spacious. Wife is 5"5. Long story short this all depends on your and your wife's height. As long as either of u are under 5"9 you should not have any issues (depending on what seat you get obviously. We have the peg perego infant seat for reference. |

My daughter loves sitting in the M2 more than my wife's SUV, bit of a speed demon in the making. |

I have a Nuna Rava rear facing in the back. Works great. And honestly plenty of room in the passenger seat for probably anybody under 6 feet.
There is some gymnastics to get in the backseat with an 18 month old, but after a few tries you get halfway decent at it. FYI, while it looks like the Rava is touching the passenger seat, it’s not. There is an inch between them and what you see is the tether strap dangling there. |

I have a Chicco Keyfit30 and fits our 8 month old, but the passenger seat leg room is limited. Enough for 5’4”ish and under.

I will be able to give better answer once my G87 is here this or next week. I have a 5 yr old and a 1.5 yr old. So one is forward facing and one rear facing.
I have a F22 228xi for the past 8 year and it is pretty comfortable to fit both car seats. For reference, I am only 5'10" I am really hoping the G87 won't be too much different since I will be replace my 228xi with the G87 as daily. |

Works great for my toddler son (aged 3, tall kid) and wife in front of him 5 feet 6 inches tall. A reverse facing baby seat would probably be too difficult, but it’s a super practical sports car option for kids after they flip around.

It's also technically possible for the car and the baby to have the same delivery date |

1. Not sure you’d get a secure fit given the center is elevated, narrow, and plastic. 2. There is no seatbelt, so you’d have to use one anchor point from each side. 2a. That would put the anchor points at an angle to the straps, which likely isn’t the best install method 2b. I find seatbelt installs to be more secure, and Nuna recommends seatbelt install 3. If it’s anything like my X3, putting it in the center just means it gets in the way of both seats lol. Honestly, the passenger seat in the M2 feels like it has more room than the passenger seat in the X3, when both have a rear facing car seat installed. I think part of that is the front seats in the M2 are so low that there is more horizontal leg room to fit, whereas the X3 seat is up higher so less horizontal leg room. |

I was just letting you know why I don’t think it would work well in an M2. |
