I finally got my new wheels and tires on the car and aligned today.

Wheels
Apex VS-5RS Wheels
19x10.5 ET18 front 19x11 ET22 rears

Tires
Falken Azenis RT660
305/30-19 front 315/30-19

Spacers
5mm front 12mm rear

Suspension
AST HAS lowered ~ 1.5" all around
Millway Street Camber plates
Frontline adj rear toe arms

Alignment
Front
-3.52/-3.58 camber
zero toe

Rear
-2.36/-2.40 camber
1/16" toe-in

This will primarily be my combo for the track but am driving around a bit to get used to them. I think I will put 5mm spacers in the rear even though it looks pretty nice. No fender rub in the back and I tested on a couple of my big bumps.

The more surprising is the front doesn't rub on the fender but it is super tight. The 305/30-19 are a bit shorter than the stock P4S so I think that countered the wider wheel. I am planning on improving the clearance but will not buy the aftermarket liners. I don't think I will cut out completely, but I'll know more once I get to it.

This thing is a 3800lb go kart now. It's crazy how different the car feels. First I think the unsprung weight and shorter back tire livened up acceleration a bit. Traction is wayyyyyy better on acceleration. I'm running JB4 map2 and it just digs. Actually launch control caused the car to bog a bit too much but 2nd gear was WOW! I haven't pushed the tires too hard in the twisties but turn in is sharp and I can get into the throttle much harder out of the turn. I have a track day next week so I will be spending some time getting used to the changes.

There is a noticeable increase in road noise and bit more harshness. This is probably compounded with the camber plates and spherical bearings on the toe arms. The P4S was not nearly as harsh or noisy. But I wouldn't anticipate many people running this tire as a daily. For sure an acceptable trade-off. I think the exhaust is just too quiet I have downpipes waiting patiently for their install and will add a single mid.

I'll get some better pics but are a few more I took.

Nice, good to see this setup on the car and glad you got your backordered wheels. Wild that the front isn't rubbing. I'd keep an eye out under full compression, but that is way more room than we saw with 305/35-18 NT-01 on a stock suspension car. The alignment might be helping a bit, but I wouldn't expect it to yield much liner clearance up front usually.

I expected it to rub. Was surprised. However the 305/30-19 is a bit shorter. That may have been the difference.
I am going to look at it on a lift this weekend to see where I need to increase clearance.

Front is likely not rubbing because your new wheel/tire combo has a 9mm shorter overall diameter compared to stock. The rear is also 7mm shorter than stock.

Front looks like it is rubbing right as the edge of the tire gets to the buldge before the fins. It won't rub on full lock.

clearance at the bulge is about 1/4". Actually closer to fins past the bulge.

Stock wheels with 12mm spacers was tighter.

Going to be running Apex SM-10RS when they release (Front: 19x10" ET12//Rear: 19x11” ET22) Front: 285/30-19 // Rear: 305/30-19 I am going to try without spacers. Do you reckon some rub with this fitment? It seems very similar to your set up.

I like the JB4 for daily use. On a road course not as much. The power is nice on the straights but you can definitely feel it trigger when rolling into throttle.

But the car has way more traction now so 1st and 2nd gear are a blast now.

Too bad stock wheels/tires are going back on till my next track event.

Definitely no issues with the fronts. Based on that spec you may want spacers if it's lowered for the look. That tire is pretty short.

The rear will be fine on the outside but it will be closer on the inner. I think it will be ok though. I've been considering a 5mm spacer on the rear, but I am also going to raise the car up about 1/2" to improve suspension travel.

Thank you for that insight. I was considering spacers to improve the look and get the wheel outward just a tad. I will be running the H&R Sport Springs for G87 (F -1.2 R -.75). I am trying to do my homework as much as possible before pulling the trigger on my setup.
