Question Searching for exhaust with oem flaps

hey all, just trying to feel out exhaust options and a little confused by whats on the market, they all seem to talk about "OEM valve function" yet all use little controllers, are there any exhausts that still use the OEM button?

If you are going with an aftermarket exhaust or just stickingbwith the OEM system and want to be able to control/open the valves fully, you will need an aftermarket valve controller.

I will mention one caveat however I do not support or recommend this method...some "tie up" the stock valves in the open position.

Is there a bypass mode with these valve controllers?
For example, can it run in the default OEM mode along with fully open or closed?

if an exhaust uses OEM valve function and a remote controller, it means that you can still use the OEM buttons or the controller for a more precise operation

In this Vavletronic video with full exhaust, around the 2:45 mark, they mention using their valve controller for 100% open and the stock controllers allowing use of the M2 button. My guess is the stock controller wouldn't let 100% open, but that may be fine for some.

My Valvetronic catback just came in, so I'm trying to decide which way to go with the controllers.

Just get mid-pipes and retain the stock muffler with valves.

The Valvetronic Valved Sport exhaust has valves, with their controller it allows you to open them all the way. There is definitely a difference even without the downpipes. Can't wait to see how it reacts with high flow catted downpipes.
