I know you can’t buy the wiring harness separately so I need help locating someone who can make the wiring harness for this steering wheel. I’ve seen a couple of people on the forum claim they have made it or have gotten it made. I don’t know why they’re gatekeeping their methods on making it but if someone can source one for me, I’m willing to make a step by step tutorial on how to make one if I’m successful.

You are aware of why so few do this mod on a F3x and why many of those attempt to sell off this wheel?

The F3x version is known to go out with some summer heat in the cabin or even a good hot sun shining on it through the glass.

does it come with a obd2 box? i've ordered one but not yet arrived.
once I installed it by myself, i can share the method with you, not necessarily all wheels are the same though.

I live in Ontario Canada where really hot days are rare, and even then I have ceramic tint around my car. The wheel looks cool and it’s aesthetically pleasing to me, plus the other functions the wheel have are nice.

No obd2 box. This is the oem one that has the wiring harness and module

would that be helpful if simply contact bmw? they can email you those docs. or find a local mechenism to install it.

BMW will not provide the cable and I have no idea why lol. You have to buy another wheel
