For owners who had port installed HAS and received no alignment documentation at delivery, please read further. At my insistence today, dealer checked and determined alignment was severely out of spec. Remedial work was performed and paperwork provided. Moral of the story, insist on verification if car is not delivered with documentation. Take nothing for granted.

No offense but relying on the dealership for an accurate/reliable alignment from a lowered car...NO THANKS.

All irrelevant if lowering further than BMW's delivered height and/or changing rims/tires as a new alignment would be required anyway.

Funny thing is that I received the paperwork for the alignment, but it only shows the initial values.

Who knows if they fixed the positive camber on the front wheel? haha! 1.25 deg should be visible. I'll have to investigate when it gets back from the clearbra place....

Prior to the dealer performing a fresh alignment, how did the car drive as delivered with the HAS?
Was it drifting/pulling or had a steering wheel pointed off center?

I drove the car fewer than 25 miles before making an issue of the missing paperwork. Most of that was to and from our house at low speed. To your point, I did not notice any problems.

What’s an alignment cost at a tuner shop? My thought is after ppf I’ll go to a tuner and drop another 5mm with tuner alignment. Ffs the car is 70k, what’s a real alignment worth? Priceless

It’s interesting to note both sets of specs are slightly different coming from the same manufacturer…
