Braided brake lines?

I've typically always upgraded my lines to braided on my cars to give a firmer pedal feel and consistency. Since these cars use electronic braking, will you feel a difference? I've always enjoyed a heavy brake pedal, probably something I developed from sim racing haha.

I think these cars are brake by wire so since there is no physical connection between the pedal and the brake lines to calipers you will not feel a difference in the pedal feedback.

Do it for the abrasion and heat resistance.

The teflon lining in the SS lines also helps with moisture permeation.

You'll notice it on a hotlap about 50 feet too late (along with fading pads)

What would one notice? Brake pad fade is a different topic.

correct me if I'm wrong but brake fluid temp, which causes expanded rubber lines (and stainless braided prevents) coincides with increased temp in the whole braking system including pad fade.

Additionally it slows moisture absorption and in normal (non-brake by wire) improves pedal feel across a wide range of scenarios including track days where fluid temps are an issue.

We offer Spiegler Stainless Steel Brake Lines on our site. They are DOT compliant and have a really cool swivel fitting that prevents them from binding/getting twisted:
