Build Weeks 43-47 Emotional Support and Tracking
I just thought I would make a post for us that are currently still RFT and def have not made it to a boat yet. I do really hope we see some quick progress as a lot of the others had long wait times in RFT.
Its been a really long wait for an allocation. Here are my details below and what I hope happen but honestly have no idea at all lol. Prod: 11/1 RFT: 11/6 Port: Baltimore Brooklyn Grey 6MT
I am wishing end of Nov with either the Patriot but thats really optimistic at this point. Evidently sitting at a factory warehouse waiting for assignment. Slightly wanna give up and go Supra |

I was hanging on to hope that I got on the last ship but I'm doubting now, 11/7 RFT but a Christmas delivery would be cool.

Love this! We needed a group for ourselves since the other guys are about to receive their cars lol. Reading through that thread was not helping me anymore 😂 it was only making it worst. I’m trying to see if there are any vessels that might pick us up in Veracruz, but I can’t find anything. There are a couple that might make sense at Altamira, but there is no way of knowing if our cars are there or not. From what I’ve learned on the other thread, BMW tries to fill up the Veracruz warehouse first, and then they send the overflow to Altamira. Being that we barely missed the ship, I feel like our cars might be the first ones at the Veracruz port. But I’m just guessing at this point.

That being said, I looked up the Sebring and the last voyage into Baltimore shows the cargo being from “Mazda” and the other half being blank. I thought I read somewhere else that BMW’s cargo usually shows up blank. So it may be that the Sebring does get contracted by BMW. I think we might be getting somewhere! |

My M2 has also been sitting at RFT since 11/6. Emails to the BMW Genius haven't told me any more than that the car is awaiting vessel assignment. I'm curious to know how everyone is finding out vessel information and what path the car will take to the Chicagoland area.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Unfortunately, none of this is guaranteed but it's a way for us to feel a little bit better since our CAs and Genius don't know anything until it's on a ship. |

My apologies for any pain I have inflicted, just realized my build week does not fall within this thread. Unfortunately I can't pick you up in my M2 that will be arriving within days and travel back in time. Be strong...Godspeed.

Hello friends. Adding myself to this group. I'm currently sitting in Ready for Transport. Here's my timeline:
The car is 6MT with the Carbon Package and I have a few port installed options including the M Performance HAS. I'm taking delivery at the Performance Center so my port is Brunswick. I'm hoping for a pre-January delivery but it all depends on how quickly I get on a ship.
